Once your date is secured with the contract and deposit, the real magic begins. Here’s how the journey unfolds:
You’ll receive a beautifully simple questionnaire designed to help me understand your story, your personalities, and the little details that make your relationship yours. It’s not homework — it’s more like a cosy trip down memory lane!
I’ll arrange a friendly, no‑pressure chat, either in person or via video chat, where you'll talk through your vision, your vibe, and any ideas you already have. This is where I'd get a feel for what matters most to you — the tone, the energy, the must‑haves, and the absolutely‑nots. Here I will start to put the foundations into place, important people, choreography and timeline for your ceremony.
Using everything you’ve shared, I will begin crafting your ceremony from scratch. No templates, no recycled scripts. Just a warm, personal, joy‑filled ceremony that sounds like you. You’ll get a draft to review and you will meet me again or video chat, have a script reading, where you can tweak, laugh over, and add or take away, as much as you like.
Got a question? A new idea? A last‑minute wobble? I'm there. You can message me anytime throughout the planning process.
On the big day I will arrive early, check in with your suppliers, especially any photographers and videographers (they will receive an order of ceremony so that they are aware of timings, to ensure they get the best shots!)
I will settle your wedding party, and make sure the ceremony space feels calm and ready. Then, when you are ready, no rush...take your time... I will lead your ceremony with warmth, humour, and heart — creating a moment that feels natural, personal, and completely relaxed.
After the wedding, you’ll receive a keepsake version of your ceremony script and vows to treasure, reread, and smile over for years to come.

In England, you will still need to arrange the registration of your marriage at your local registrars office. All that is required is for the marriage certificate to be signed in front of two adult witnesses. This is the 'legal paperwork' of the marriage and it can be done at anytime and at minimal cost. Please contact your local council for more detailed information.
When you marry at a licensed wedding venue or a registry office, a registrar will perform your legal civil ceremony. There are rules, regulations and red tape with a registrar weddings which may include a couple not being able to share personalised vows, bring in any decorations or use certain music they would like to. Additionally, a registrar is likely to have more than one wedding to attend per day so you'll have a restricted amount of their time time too.
Choosing a Celebrant for your wedding gives you absolute creative freedom. Your ceremony is written with you and only you in mind. Whether its a Disney wedding, a beach event or Granny's back garden. Its YOUR decision!
